In response to recent questions from the House of Commons parliamentary science watchdog about Boots’ insistence on selling homeopathic preparations, their chief pharmacist Paul Bennett admitted: We critically thinking, rational types are well aware that the reason why homeopathy doesn’t work beyond the placebo effect is because, in all probability, there are bugger all active ingredients in any remedy above 15C.
