Can’t wait for the landing. I’ll be up watching whatever feeds I can get my internet connection onto.
We’ve got a fairly poor record of landing stuff on Mars so this is going to be a bit nerve-wracking. MSL could tell us so much about the possibility of life on Mars. It’s going to be landing in an area that is extremely interesting because it seems to contain all the elements we’re looking for in an area that should tell us the most about what’s going on there. We don’t know what’s there yet but if there’s somewhere that looks the most interesting to go and examine then Gale Crater is it.
