Just thought you may want to pop along to the next Adults Only evening at INTECH Science Centre!
The theme is ‘Bodies’ and as well as having a really fantastic and funny talk about tuberculosis called ‘TB or not TB; What’s eating her?’ from Nicole Slavin, we have a huge array of activities on the theme of bodies including the chance to look at some real cancer cells using our fantastic microscopes, a chance to win a big fluffy Cold or Streptococcus virus from the Physiological Society, take part in a live experiment about the placebo effect in our cafe or see me fail miserably to hold anyone’s attention when I try and be Richard Wiseman and blow your minds with some sensory illusions.
And if that wasn’t enough, you can come and see our new show ‘Cell! Cell! Cell!’ which was created by our very own Dr Jenny Shipway and worked on by Jenny, me and the amazing guys at the National Space Centre. I’m not kidding, it is a thing of beauty.
