Intech – Science Centre and Planetarium Outing

Would you like to join us this Saturday for a trip to the Winchester Intech Science Centre and Planetarium ?

A group of us are going along to sample the science delights and interactive exhibits on show and also to have a viewing of the new film Natural Selection which is about the life and work of the young Charles Darwin on an adventurous voyage of exploration circumnavigating the world on HMS Beagle.

We plan on meeting at Intech at approximately 12:00 so we can have a good look around before the film starts.
Intech is located in Winchester on Telegraph way and is well signposted. Here’s a map.
The film starts at 3:20 pm and finishes at 4:00 pm.

We’d love to see you there.

I presume children would be welcome?

    Count me in πŸ™‚

  • Kids always welcome at Intech.

Oh, yeah, we’ve taken the kids before it’s more wondering whether they are welcome as part of our group really.

I was going to encourage others to bring kids along as I felt this would be a great way for people to introduce their kids into the whole skepticism thingy.

    Sounds a great idea!

See you there. @Pam are you sure you want to introduce your kids to this motley bunch? πŸ˜‰

What a great afternoon. Great company, fun toys and a fabulous film. I still reckon we should have stayed in our seats and made them show it again

  • That was loads of fun. And the film was stunning. Perhaps a bit low on the science content but then again it’s supposed to be for the layman. It was tremendously immersive though. I can’t wait to see more films there. Awesome.
