Hello everyone!
I appreciate that this is short notice and unfortunate news but for the next few months at least the Roebuck Inn will no longer be our Skeptical home as the brewery have informed Adam (Landlord) that the cost of replacing the roof would invalidate the pub as a going concern. Now, obviously this sucks as we really enjoyed the Roebuck and appreciated all that Adam and the staff did for us there but we have been working tirelessly to find a new venue and after careful consideration and not a small amount of market research *hic*, I am delighted to tell you that we will be meeting on the second floor of the Slug and Lettuce, in central Winchester to welcome Andrew Copson of the BHA next Thursday.

Minor inconvenience for us, complete kick in the teeth for Adam. I’d like to say thanks to everyone at the Roebuck.
Aye it is a great shame but with any luck it’ll be back up and running soon.
